John Buffone discusses the evolution of messaging in the health care industry

John Buffone, senior media relations manager at Gavin, was a panelist at the CPBJ Health Care Summit, speaking about timely public relations, reaching people with consistent communications where they consume information, and having clear internal messaging.
He also emphasized the importance of speaking out during a moment of crisis.
“Just waiting around doesn’t work. You have to be that bastion of trust,” Buffone said.
